The ESL program at Estes Hills is designed to help students who come from many different language backgrounds. Our goal is to help students develop proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking English. We also help students develop the knowledge and skills to succeed in class, in all subjects. Finally, our program aims to help students adjust to a new school or culture. In some cases, I will pull students out of class and bring them to my classroom to work on specific skills. Other times I will go into a student's class to help him or her with work done in the classroom.
