Rising 8th graders: Want to do some extra credit this summer? Complete one of the following for an extra quiz or test grade depending on the time and effort involved:
A. Follow the Tour de France- use official website to... http://www.letour.fr/
B. Create a picture scrapbook or powerpoint on "Des Experiences francaises" a Chapel Hill et Carrboro.
C. Create a scrapbook of English words in the French language as you find them in newspapers and magazines. Cut out the complete sentence, highlight the word or phrases and explain what it means. For example: The soccer team had developed a great sense of esprit de corps. Esprit de Corps means team spirit or literally " spirit of the body". D. Your own French summer-fun idea.
