For extra help or questions I am almost always available in Room A157 during lunch.  I am also available to help students before and after school by appointment.

This school year we are implemmenting a new curriculum in science called the "Essential Standards". This curriculum also includes a new literacy component. The state department of public instruction is creating a new system of assessment (testing). The details of this new testing program have not been determined yet.

In July I was chosen to be a participant in the Educators of Excellence Institute in the Amazon of Peru. I will be incorporating in my classes many of the experiences we both learned and enjoyed in South America.
