  MEET THE SERVICE LEARNING COORDINATOR  

Hello! My name is Deirdre Stifler & I am the Service Learning Coordinator at East   Chapel Hill   High School . I previously worked in the CIC for many years and it was from the CIC that Service Learning was first coordinated.  So, I am not totally new to this position, but it has been a while.  I am eager to help all students find meaningful and rewarding experiences as they seek to enrich the community by serving, and to grow personally through their volunteer efforts.  I hope that students and parents will visit the Service Learning website often and learn about the many available opportunities, download service forms and most importantly read the guidelines which are set before us by the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School System.  

Requirements 
Class of 2010 and beyond if you:
Entered the CHCCS District as a Freshman: 25 hours
Entered the CHCCS District as a Sophomore: 15 hours
Entered the CHCCS District as a Junior: 10 hours
Entered the CHCCS District as a Senior: 10 hours

Hours needed to receive off-campus and parking privileges: 25
Hours are pro-rated for students who entered the District after their Freshman year.  Please refer to the Service Learning Guidelines for more information.
