Raptors, SchoolCenter Picture

Greetings and welcome to the home page of the Rashkis Raptors website. The old adage time flies is definitely true, I cannot believe that we are beginning our second semester/third quarter of the 2009-2010 school year.

School is in full swing, and our Raptors are really strutting their stuff! We distributed over 150 Perfect Attendance charms at our first annual Perfect Attendance Award ceremony. That is a compliment to the great hard working staff and conscientious students of Rashkis!

Each grade level is busy with grade specific projects. Our kindergartners are preparing for the big 100th day celebration. First graders are working on All about Maps books, while second grade students will be making music as they study many aspects of sound. Third grade students are immersed in biography research for Rashkis' Wax Museum. The fourth grade NC Map project is swiftly approaching while fifth grade is anticipating the annual Inquiry Project.

Be sure to check our website frequently for upcoming events and dates like our school wide Math Night held on March 8th.

We believe and honor that every student at Rashkis deserves to have a stellar education and we are working hard every day to promote excellence.
