To lead and inspire our community to be responsible stewards of our environment and resources, through conservational programs and policies, collaborative decision making, and relevant education.

Vision Statement

Recognizing the dynamic and changing world we live in, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will be a sustainable community that minimizes the impact on the local, regional, and global environment and develops student-focused ownership of conservation practices.
