What is Connect2School (C2S) and why do I need to use it?  What it is .....
C2S provides you with a virtual desktop that gives you access to common applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It also enables you to access your documents and it can do all this from any Internet connected computer. C2S uses an application called Citrix that allows access anytime, anywhere. This means that you can get to your "stuff" from that beautiful resort in the Carribean, or your relative's house in Pittsburg, or even the Internet Cafe on your cruise ship. Once you have a C2S account, you can connect to your "stuff" from anywhere.
Why you need to use it .....
So many reasons!
Once you have a C2S account you have access to a set of applications and productivity tools that all our staff use. C2S is where you will check your email, browse the Web, set up a PowerPoint slideshow and store your lesson plans.
Because your files are backed up every night, you don't have to worry about storing your files on CDs, flash drives and.... I'm sure some of you might still use these - floppy disks!
Students in second through fifth grade have C2S accounts so it is imperative that you know how to use the system and know at least as much as a fifth grader!
