Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate is joining the HandsOn Network to encourage volunteerism through the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" program. New BRMA mentors and tutors are eligible to recieve a free 1 day, 1 theme park ticket to Disneyland or Walt Disney World.  Volunteers must make a full commitment to their BRMA role and meet all of the registration guidelines of the HandsOn Network and Disney.  To find out more, visit the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" website and register for volunteer with BRMA.

Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate is a comprehensive support program for students in the Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools.

We provide students with mentoring, tutoring, advocacy, enrichment, leadership training, and scholarship support services.

You can use this site to learn how to volunteer, meet our mentors and mentees, support our scholarship program, see how we turn students into servant-leaders, learn more about how our program works, and review press coverage of our good work.

BRMA has a blog.  It uses real stories from our mentors to share the good work that we do.  If you're looking for a place to hear some "good news" in a rough world, try subscribing.
