Welcome to the home page for Exceptional Children! We hope you will visit often.

The mission of the Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools is to enable all students, through programs of excellence, to acquire the knowledge, skills, and insights necessary to live productive lives. In that spirit, our programs are designed to support students with disabilities as they acquire academic, social, and functional skills. We support the policy of moderate inclusion, so that even students with the most severe disabilities spend time with typically developing peers. We serve students from 3 through 21 years of age.
