Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Did you know, the Seawell PTA ...
- Provides on average $300 of classroom support to each teacher at Seawell
- Sponsors Cultural Enrichment programs for Seawell students throughout the year
- Funds Family Programming events like Bingo Night and Big Fall Play Day
- Introduces new families to Seawell with an Ice Cream social at the beginning of the school year.
- Provides funding for art, music and technology.
Just to name a few.
You can support your PTA by:
- volunteering your time,
- participating in fundraising events, and
- purchasing a PTA membership.
The National PTA ( http://www.pta.org/ ) is the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. Seawell's PTA is a local unit within the North Carolina PTA ( http://www.ncpta.org/ ).
