About the Hospital School

The UNC Hosptial School provides year-round, educational services to school-age children and adolescents while they are patients so they will be able to continue their studies with as little interruption as possible.

School Improvement Plan & Status Reports

The North Carolina General Assembly requires schools across the state to write improvement goals and identify strategies for reaching these goals. These goals and strategies are compiled in the School Improvement Plan (SIP). Each spring, CHCCS requires schools to report on their progress toward their School Improvement Plan in an End-of-Year Status Report.

Equity Plan

CHCCS continues to make strides toward closing achievement gaps and ensuring high achievement for all students. Each school annually creates an Equity Plan to outline efforts school's will make toward this critical goal.
