School Plans & Reports

School Improvement Plan & Status Reports

The North Carolina General Assembly requires schools across the state to write improvement goals and identify strategies for reaching these goals. These goals and strategies are compiled in the School Improvement Plan (SIP). Each spring, CHCCS requires schools to report on their progress toward their School Improvement Plan in an End-of-Year Status Report.

Prevention and Intervention Plans

Schools in our district are organized into Professional Learning Communities. These groups of educators track student performance and discuss students on an individual basis to answer the question, "How will we respond when some of our students don't learn?" Prevention and Intervention Plans illustrate the various strategies teachers can use when they discover that a student hasn't mastered a learning objective.
